Donohue Defence Law Firm prides itself on being professional, compassionate, and aggressive.
Sarah Donohue has a work history of working at a high-risk mental health facility directly with patients implementing criminal justice plans. She also worked for five years managing a child and youth facility and was directly responsible for behaviour management of at-risk youth. She has experience with socioeconomically dependent populations and brings a sense of compassionate and rights-focused justice to every case she takes on.
Sarah takes the time to get the full picture and speaks to anyone and everyone that can shed light on a person’s history and involvement with the criminal justice system. She has been known to do her own investigatory work- by getting surveillance videos directly from the source or attending the ‘scene of the alleged crime’ to get first hand knowledge. These over and above efforts have resulted in many acquittals and also in criminal charges being laid against a member of the local police force. Past results are not necessarily indicative of future results as each case is fact specific.
She attended the University of Windsor Law School where she participated in volunteering for the local Legal Aid Clinic, was published in the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues, completed a work placement in the Northwest Territories clerking for the Supreme Court and has worked with Indigenous populations.
